Well, the big news in my little life is that my fifth novel, Got 'til it's Gone, has won the Lambda Literary Award in the Gay Romance category.  I feel very Sally Field ("You LIKE me!").  Many thanks to Arsenal Pulp Press, who published Got 'til it's Gone when nobody else gave a good cahoot.

Gay fiction is rife with coming-out stories and coming of age stories.
Got 'til it's Gone, is a coming of middle age story – I haven't seen many of those.  Got 'til it's Gone is a queer romantic comedy, and the story of one gay man's experience of "middle age crazy".   That gay man would be Johnnie Ray Rousseau, my literary alter-ego and mouthpiece, the protagonist of three of my four previous novels.

Critics are calling
Got 'til it's Gone "steamy"(1), "intelligent"(2), "laugh-out-loud funny" (3), and "the kind of novel that will have you calling your friends so you can read bits of it over the phone." (4)

I like to think
Got 'Til It's Gone has everything the 21st Century reader is looking for: sex and violence, laughter and tears, trannies and metaphysical faith healing.

Got 'til it's Gone is available at gay book stores, through Amazon.com, BarnesandNoble.com, and elsewhere.

Ask for it by name -- real loud.
